Background

Sending Something, Without the Ceremony

Dropit is a delivery app for sending and receiving items, a simple way to get something from A to B without the friction of traditional couriers. I designed it end to end as sole designer.

The Problem / Objective

Delivery Overbuilt

Sending something shouldn’t feel like a logistics exercise, but it usually does. Traditional services add friction to the basics with opaque forms and pricing, leave senders with uncertainty once an item is on its way, and overbuild the experience until the everyday user is buried in features they don’t need. The objective was a delivery experience as light as the task itself.

The Design Process

Restraint as the Guiding Principle

The challenge was restraint. I moved directly into high-fidelity Figma, designing the core flows, create a delivery, enter pickup and drop-off, send, and track from dispatch to arrival, with simplicity as the guiding principle and the next step always obvious.
