Background

One System, Two Surfaces

MedSave bridges providers, organisations, and members (patients) so care is delivered faster and insurance claims get easier. It spans two connected surfaces, a web app for providers like labs and pharmacies, and a mobile app for patients, both designed end to end as sole designer.

The Problem / Objective

The Connective Tissue Is Broken

Insured healthcare should be simple for patients and profitable for providers, but the connective tissue is broken. Care delivery is slow and fragmented across disconnected systems, claims are painful and error-prone, and the result is a process where no one wins. The objective was to bridge all three parties into one seamless platform.

The Design Process

Two Experiences, One Feel

The core challenge was designing two experiences that feel like one system. I worked across both surfaces in parallel in Figma, operational clarity for the provider web app handling patients and claims at volume, and accessibility for the patient mobile app. Every decision was measured against a single question: does this reduce friction in the exchange between them?
