A Web Presence, From the Ground Up
Merson Capital is a purpose-driven investment firm making strategic investments across industries, from infrastructure to technology. With no existing site, I designed its web presence from the ground up as sole designer.
The Problem / Objective
A Credibility Instrument, Not a Brochure
For an investment firm, a website is a credibility instrument, not a brochure. It had to establish trust, feeling serious, stable, and considered from the first screen, while communicating purpose. That meant translating an abstract, values-driven philosophy into a tangible brand experience rather than empty corporate language.
The Design Process
Structured Around the Story
I moved into high-fidelity Figma, structuring the site around the story the firm needed to tell, who they are, what they’ve built, and what they believe, across an introduction, portfolio, and milestones. The visual direction is confident and restrained, giving the firm’s core values real presence so the site demonstrates its standards rather than just describing them.
